Aalyrica B

Aalyrica B is a rising Junior at North Carolina A&T in the Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics and a 2026 Trajectory Foundation National Scholarship winner.  Prior to her $24,000 scholarship award, Trajectory Foundation twice helped Aalyrica stay in college by wiping out student account balances that threatened to leave her unable to register for classes.  That financial stress can be devastating to students, but Aalyrica hustled to secure funding all while accumulating a 3.78 GPA.

To say that Aalyrica is fiercely independent and resilient would be an understatement.  Without parents consistently in her life, she had to grow up quickly and learned to solve problems on her own.  In her words, “where I lacked guidance, I created my own.”   Aalyrica is building a quiet confidence as she grows her experience in college.  She was selected to be part of the Toyota Leaders Program, has participated in The Pitch (an entrepreneurial competition funded by the Thurgood Marshall College Fund), and has traveled to Dubai to learn about international business as part of an on-campus program.

We consider ourselves very lucky to have met Aalyrica and we are incredibly excited to support her college journey and beyond.  We have already worked to connect her to internships this summer and have helped her with interview skills as well.

Please join us in welcoming Aalyrica to the Trajectory Foundation family of scholars and congratulating her on her scholarship award!
