Congratulations to Julianna G on being awarded a Trajectory Foundation HBCU Scholarship. Julianna is from Sacramento, CA and has graduated from Laguna Creek High School with 4.59 GPA. In summarizing Julianna’s high school years, it becomes hard to find something she wasn’t involved in or a leadership role she didn’t have. She is an incredibly hard working, talented student who trained six days a week in competitive swimming and was in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP). What we loved was that she constantly reminded herself that she was doing the IBDP program for herself only. She wrote that “I did it to prove to myself that I could achieve anything I wanted to.” Her ability to laugh and enjoy the interview we conducted while also asking pointed questions was so impressive. Julianna will continue her competitive swimming career and major in Biology at Howard University in the fall of 2025.
