Trajectory Foundation is proud to award a $6,000 per year scholarship to Laila VH, a rising Junior at North Carolina A&T in the Willie A Deese School of Business and Economics.  Laila is originally from Chicago, Illinois and has a stellar 3.78 GPA at NC A&T in her first two years putting her in the Honors College.  Laila’s essays were perhaps the most transparent and raw essays we have ever received because she shared things with us she had not openly shared before and she allowed us to feel her emotions.  She wrote “I am defining my narrative, rewriting the story that was once written for me. Resilience, for me, is about reclaiming my identity, embracing my growth, and proving to myself that I am stronger than the past that tried to break me.”

We are thrilled to welcome her to the Trajectory scholarship family and can’t wait to see her growth in the years ahead.
