Madelyn M

Madelyn M, a rising Junior Honors Political Science student at North Carolina A&T has been awarded a Trajectory Foundation National Scholarship.  Maddy, who is originally from Sacramento, serves as a Student Government Association Senator and maintains a 3.9 GPA.  She is one of the most action-oriented students we have ever met.  She is practiced in the art of advocating for herself; and not just for herself but for the good of the broader student population at NCAT.  She wrote passionately about the impact of her grandmother who, in the 1960s, became the first Black teacher at a local middle school, helping to integrate the school during a time of intense racial division.

Madelyn is a Roosevelt Network Fellow where she researched equitable campaign financing systems, was selected as a Duke pre-Law fellowship last summer, and was selected for the Du Bois Scholar Program at Harvard where she will intern at Harvard Law School this summer.

Please congratulate Maddy – we are so proud to have her in the Trajectory Foundation family.
